Kimaya NICU is a clinical support tool used by hospitals, neonatologists, and NICU staff to perform Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and related neonatal calculations.

This Policy applies to registered users of Kimaya NICU (doctors, nurses, and other authorized healthcare personnel acting on behalf of a hospital or clinic) and to visitors of our public website. a. Account information. When you register, we collect information such as your name, professional role, hospital/institution, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
b. Clinical calculation data. To provide TPN and related calculations, the Service processes clinical inputs entered by authorized users, which may include neonate-specific parameters (e.g., weight, day of life, fluid intake, dextrose/lipid concentrations) and calculation outputs. This data is entered by, and intended for the use of, treating healthcare staff, and may constitute sensitive personal data relating to a patient under applicable law. We process this data solely as a service provider to the hospital/clinic that controls the patient relationship.
c. Usage and device information. We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log data, and usage patterns to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not use clinical calculation data for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
Where the Service is used to process information relating to identifiable patients (including neonates), the hospital or clinic using the Service acts as the data controller/fiduciary for that patient data, and Josh Software acts as a data processor, providing the Service in accordance with the instructions of, and any agreement executed with, that institution. Any patient-related data entered into the Service should be handled by the institution in accordance with its own consent and data protection obligations, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable healthcare regulations.

We retain account and clinical calculation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter for as long as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, audit, or legitimate business purposes.
